What is a car stacker?
A car stacker is a mechanical parking system that vertically stacks vehicles to multiply parking spots within a single footprint. PowerUp designs and installs AS5124:2017 compliant stackers for residential garages and apartment complexes across Sydney and NSW
How do I know if it is suitable for my property?

Do you provide servicing and maintenance?
Yes. PowerUp offers preventative maintenance, breakdown support, repairs, and inspections to help ensure your equipment remains safe, reliable, and compliant throughout its life.
Do I need council approval?
Approval requirements vary between councils and developments. Therefore, each project requires a tailored approach to meet the relevant requirements.
To assist with this process, PowerUp provides technical drawings, specifications, and project information to support your consultant team and help progress approvals.
How much does a turntable for a car cost?
The price of a car turntable depends on several important factors. For example, the size (diameter), weight capacity, and top surface finish can all affect the final cost. In addition, installation requirements and site conditions may influence the overall price.
As a general guide, a simple 4.0m diamond top car turntable supplied and installed typically costs between $22,000 – $25,000 ex GST AUD.
How long does a car turntable installation take?
Installation typically takes 1–2 days, depending on the complexity of your site. However, the installation period is only one part of the process. Please keep in mind that equipment lead times can be 12+ weeks, depending on the selected system and manufacturer.
What is the difference between a car stacker and a car lift?
A car stacker is a mechanical parking system designed to increase vehicle storage within the same footprint. In other words, it allows multiple vehicles to park vertically where a traditional parking space would only store one vehicle.
On the other hand, a car lift is a vertical transport system that moves a vehicle between different basement / building levels. Unlike a car stacker, a car lift focuses on moving vehicles rather than creating additional parking spaces.
