Scissor Lifts; Our Standard Single Scissor Car Hoist is both a reliable and an efficient car lifting platform. Utilizing a pantograph lifting system (scissor).
The Car lifts and hoists we install are lifting platforms that smoothly transport vehicles between different parking levels. With a car lift install, you eliminate the need for ramps in multi-storey buildings, thereby providing more usable space on every floor.
Size / Capacity. The scissor car lift is designed for vertical transportation between two levels, offering a travel distance of up to 4.2 meters. Average weight capacity is 3000kg.
Operation. The Scissor Hoist is operated with a dead man switch operation. This means the operator must continuously press the controls while remaining seated in the vehicle.
Design. We offer an extensive range of car hoists and car lifts, all compliant with AS 1418.8:2008 Cranes, Hoists and Winches – Part 8: Special Purpose Appliances. A car hoist under AS1418.8 typically features an open platform design, however we can supply enclosures.
Maintenance. Low maintenance cost for the end-user. Depending on the location and the frequency of use of course, but in general these machines only require a 6-monthly preventative services.
