Looking for a practical and affordable way to double your parking capacity in a limited space? A pit-style car stacker might be the perfect solution. Designed to create two parking spaces where there’s seemingly room for just one, these systems utilize a below-ground space to store one vehicle, while another sits above on a platform. Ideal for both residential and commercial properties.
Size / Capacity. You need a little over 2800mm width minimum to install one and they will accommodate the new generation SUVs, 4-wheel-drive vehicles and low clearance sports cars.
Operation. To use the Car Stacker (pit), simply park the first vehicle on the platform. Then use the Deadman switch or key operation to lift it up. With the platform raised, a second vehicle can be conveniently parked on the lower platform.
Design. This machines requires a pit to be created and enough headspace to lift the upper platform / car. These double stackers are known for their robust nature and each platform can accommodate cars up to 2500kg each.
Maintenance. Low maintenance cost for the end-user. Depending on the location and the frequency of use of course, but in general these machines only require an annual preventative service.
